During these weekly drop-in mindfulness classes in Den Haag, we will explore different meditation techniques and practices so that each participant can develop their own regular practice.

In-person mindfulness classes in Scheveningen

These weekly drop-in mindfulness meditation classes in Den Haag are an opportunity to connect with a like-minded community and to share and grow in your mindfulness practice. All levels of experience welcome, complete beginners to seasoned practitioners.

Each week we will explore different types of meditation and mindfulness practices, cultivating inner awareness and wisdom through curiously observing the continuously changing flow of our experience. Sitting meditation, mindful movement, mindful eating, breath work, chanting as well as compassion and gratitude practices will be experienced, and more!

The 1-hour meditation circle will take place at a new venue in Scheveningen, Den Haag. Places are limited – max 10 people. So please pay through the link below to guarantee your spot.

Practical tips for meditation class participation:

  • Dress comfortably for sitting and gentle movement
  • We will be sitting on cushions on the ground, also the option to stand or lie down during the practices
  • Cushions, bolsters and blankets are all available at the venue. There are also chairs available if you are unable to sit on the ground
  • You are welcome to arrive 15-minutes before the start of the session to have a cup of tea and get settled
  • I like to start the sessions on time, and the front door will be locked at 7pm so the venue is secure during the class

The venue is a bit hidden – down a small alleyway – just off Keizerstraat, Scheveningen. If you are walking down Keizerstraat towards the sea – the venue is on the right hand side between two shops (a shop selling cheap things and de redactie van de Scheveninger (which is number 40).  There is a white rusty gate and you will see the sign for Koek & Hopi, go through and walk through to the end.

Bernadette Keogh, Mindfulness Trainer

Bernadette Keogh is a mindfulness trainer and nutritional therapist. She has been teaching mindfulness since 2013 and been a mindfulness practitioner for over 25 years. She has taught over 2,000 people in in-person and online workshops, courses and events. She has also completed mindfulness teacher training (for MBSR) with Bangor University and is a Qualified MB-EAT Mindful Eating Instructor. She is a Registered Nutritional Therapist and is a member of BANT (the British Association for Nutritional Therapists).
